Event introduction

How can we reinvent leadership in Africa with women and youth to ensure we meet Agenda 2063?

This is one of the many questions the first edition of New African Woman Forum hopes to address by bringing together leaders from business, academia and civil society, as well as key decision makers from the public and private sectors. Our aim is to find innovative solutions and strategies to enable a sustainable transformative growth in Africa.

The forum will be accompanied by the New African Woman Awards, a gala cocktail dinner to recognise women leadership and excellence on the continent. The winners, voted by the New African Woman magazine’s readers and shortlisted by our board of advisors will be announced during the awards dinner.

New African Woman Awards, part of the New African Woman Forum, aims to recognise women leadership and excellence on the continent. The winners, voted by the New African Woman magazine’s readers and shortlisted by our board of advisors will be announced during the awards dinner.
