Selection Process

Selection Process

The competition starts with a Call For Entries when banks and financial institutions are invited to submit entries for the categories on offer. Once the deadline is closed the African Banker Awards Committee will select and announce the shortlist for each award category. The Committee is composed of the editorial teams of African Business and African Banker magazines and it benefits from the expertise of leading organisations and industry figures with an in-depth knowledge of the African business landscape. Once the shortlist has been decided, nominees will be informed individually.

The categories for the African Banker Awards are chosen to recognise the key banking fields and initiatives that form the make-up of the African banking world.

The winners are selected by our panel of judges and will be announced on the evening of the award ceremony.
